The concept of a bar at home, also can be called a “mini-bar” is not new to many people. Most of us stock alcohol at home usually in the fridge or in the closet. But when it comes to accessorising your home and inviting a few guests over, a small mini-bar can certainly make an impression.

Not only does this give an appeal to drinking but also helps you organize your bottles and accessories such as glasses, ice bucket, tongs and so on in the right place. If you have some money you could buy a small fridge. (Not sure where this is available in India as we write this).

Some basic requirements for a mini bar are:

  • Alcohol (of-course) - we will get to that later in the next article
  • Serving Glasses - depends on the drink
  • Bar Spoons
  • Pourers
  • Cocktail Shakers
  • Corkscrew
  • Ice bucket / Ice crusher
  • Ice
  • Napkins and coasters
  • Knife for slicing oranges and lemons !
  • Strainer

This article will be continued with more details shortly ! comments are welcome.
